Training can only be done by an EMC staff member. No one else is allowed to train you to use the microscope. Please ask a staff member about getting trained.
Appointments are made for hour increments and are scheduled with a staff member.
The Office of Sponsored Programs Administration requires a signature for any charges applied to a MoCode. Upon visiting the EMC, please bring a signed/dated submission form with a MoCode - this form can be provided by a staff member or accessed here.
No data storage. Any data older than 30 days will be deleted. Please map this network drive (\\files.cvm.missouri.edu\emcore\userdata) to access your data (with Domain/pawprint and password) outside the EMC on campus. Here are printable instructions.

What should I wear to work in the EMC?
Its cold down here, bring a jacket. Also, if you are working in the labs with chemicals you should wear proper personal protective equipment (gloves, goggles) as well as long pants and close-toed shoes.
Can I schedule less than an hour?
No, appointments on the microscopes are scheduled for hour increments, please contact a staff member

How long will it take to get my biological specimens processed to image them with TEM?
Normally, it takes ~2 weeks to prepare specimens for imaging with the TEM. Sometimes we have many samples that need processing so it could be longer. Rush samples
